L'Oreal Revitalift "Laser X3" has been reviewed by a bunch of people as being an excellent product for the price.

I use Youth Code's serum, along Oil of Olay's anti aging moisturizer and Olay night cream.

Really though, the best thing you can do for your skin is drink plenty of water and not smoke.

I'm 43 and the wrinkles are just beginning around my eyes, most people think I'm in my early to mid 30's.

Organic Coconut Oil, every other night. Oil of Olay Regenerist every other night. Sunscreen, at least spf15, every single day.

Botox is great. Have been using for 10 years now. And it's nonsense about frozen face looks when using it. No one can ever tell That I use it regularly. I just have few to none wrinkles and have had overdone with tanning in my 20ties.

Otherwise suggest creme de la mer or biodroga.

But Botox, seriously is great!

Another Olay user. My dermatologist actually recommended it. She told me that I could spend a lot more money if I wanted to, but that I would get the same results with Olay.

I use the Regenerist line for moisturizing, but I've noticed all Regenerist products are not made equally.

The bad: There is a 'severe wrinkle' roller ball applicator lotion that is just crap. Does nothing, leaves a white film like you have eye goop or tears that have dried on your skin. Their tiny bottles of eye lotion are also crappy - they are fine as lotion, but nothing special and certainly not worth the cost.

The good: I love the Regenerating lotion with SPF 15, in the white bottle. That works wonderfully, and it's a nice moisturizer as well. The cream of the same name is excellent, too. The night cream I've only ever tried a sample of and it was fine - not sure what the difference was between that and the day cream.

My new love, though - Glycolix glycolic acid pads! They are a small jar of 60 pads (think like stridex pads) saturated with glycolic acid at various concentrations, depending on what you buy. I started with the 15% and then moved to the 20%. I use them every night before bed, on my face and neck and all the way down to my chest. One pad does all that skin no problem. Brief tingling or stinging, perhaps a little pink skin, but no actual peeling. My skin is so ridiculously smooth! I don't know if it takes away wrinkles, but it makes the skin itself so luminous. I love it. I rarely find something that works this well. And you can get them on Amazon for $20-30 for a jar of 60 pads, so that's 2 months worth at least - some people don't use them every night, so it lasts longer.

The reason I used them in the first place is that I noticed when I get an anti-aging facial, the ones that work the best are the ones with mild glycolic acid, so I bought my own for times between facials. Love it.

I love Olay, but it doesn't love my skin.

I use Purity Made Simple cleanser (Philosophy) and Hope in a Jar moisturizer (also Philosophy). Occasionally, I use their microdermabrasian scrub--but my skin is sensitive and does not require it much.

In the winter, I sometimes switch to Miracle in a Jar (a heavier moisturizer). There is a Miracle eye product too, but I don't seem to have much in the way of wrinkling around my eyes (yet).

LOVE these Philosophy products--they are great. And they last a long time.

But when I'm cheap or broke, drugstore Cetaphil products work well, too.

Botox and Juvederm are next on my list--maybe post-Christmas as a gift to myself. I don't have many lines at all. I'd like to keep it that way. (I do have a scar right in the middle of the frown line that formed post d-day and would like both of them filled out.) And when I fall into the $40k needed to lift the parts of my body no one can see when I'm clothed, I will probably have very minor work done on my face---no structural change, but tightening of my jawline and filling of thinning areas. (I have lost a TON of weight, and the waddle thing, though minimal, bothers me. Fat really does smooth things out, and now that I don't really have it, I need help.)

I switch it up all the time usually high end but always on sale.

The trick is to use moisturizer in the morning and before bedtime. In addition do not forget your neck!

The other advice I would give is to exercise on a regular basis and smile if you want to look younger!

I like the Olay Regenerist also. It comes in a read glass bottle with a silver top. The other ones don't seem to work as well.

I also used to use Ceramide by Elizabeth Arden. It did make my skin look smoother, but after a few days, more pores would get clogged. The capsules work great, but they're too expensive.

In a pinch, I've had really good luck with Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion....works great and is ultra cheap. (The yellowish bottle.) Use is all over, including face. Does a great job.

Boots No. 7 has a serum that has been given the good housekeeping seal as actually working. I think it is called Protect and Perfect serum and it is around $20.

I like their sensitive skin hydrating serum. I use it as eye cream since my allergies to skin care products are horrendous. I also use plain sensitive unscented lubriderm at night and olay complete sensitive during the day.

Well, I'm hardly a Beauty Diva

But I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Clinique products. I'm a fan- I like the Repairware Laser Focus (although I haven't tried the new formula yet) and the Youth Surge Night in particular. I have one of their SPF moisturizers for daytime too.

I like Clinique, but haven't tried Oil of Olay. Maybe I'm wasting money?!

I'm an Olay user too.

I use products called, Eminence that a local spa introduced. Lots of natural ingredients like acai, lycopene, lavender, coconut and blueberries. Then 2 more spas brought the line in to replace Dermalogica so I figured it must be great if they all want in.

Most of the Eminence day products for face have an SPF of 32.

I did Juvederm in August. Wow! I could only afford half a syringe but did I ever like the little bit of plumpness it gave my face! Everything was lifted (and then fell 3 months later). I will do a full syringe next time and hope it lasts 9-12 months.

When I was using a serum I liked pholosphy's When Hope Is Not Enough.

the things that has made the most difference for me has been the Alpha Hydrox glycolic acid lotion.

I really enjoy Philosophy products. About a year ago I decided to try something new from my usual lineup, and found Derma DR. Poetry in Lotion, and Photodynamic Therapy. I used it for about 6 months and then had a trip out of the country where I ran out of both!!! A week later, when my skin started getting the crypt keeper texture, I panicked. I ordered new and had it waiting for me when I returned home. I was back to normal in a few days! AMEN.

Maybe I'm overpaying, but the Crypt Keeper in me thinks not.

I have no idea what Juvederm is But I think I might want to know, if anyone would care to enlighten me.

Juvederm is a filler that gets injected into various places on your face. I had it done on the corners of my lips and in the nasal folds (between nose and mouth) and also on my cheeks. It filled the lines and filled out my cheeks and it was AMAZING. I am doing it again in December.

I'm not too bad in the wrinkle department (have always had oily skin and hated it until now at 48 not having many wrinkles) HOWEVER, my skin is saggy - especially around the jowls area. Anyone have any luck with any help in that area? I do the neck exercises. But time marches on. Can't afford the facelift thing Debbie Boone advertises on tv. Can't afford botox and no offense to those who love it, but wouldn't do it anyway. I have found hemmoroid (sp?) cream to work but it is greasy and makes my skin break out. Anyone have anything that has worked well for them?

Boots No 7 has some excellent products,especially for those with dry,sensitive skin. I swear by Cerave AM lotion as a daytime moisturizer/sunscreen...and at only $11 a 3oz bottle? Can't beat it. Night-time moisturizer,I use Olay's Total Effects Mature Skin Therapy on top of my Retin-A. I avoid the sun like I'm a vampire/zombie hybrid....even at the beach,I'm the one wearing sunglasses and a floppy hat. Upside is that even in my 40's,I am often mistaken for my children's older sister At this point,I haven't had to go any more invasive than Retin-A,but will I? Oh,hell,yeah.

When I was in third grade I had an accident that involved my face and the sidewalk.

I remember my Mom telling me not to touch my face so I wouldn't get scars.

Once I hit puberty, I gave myself weekly facials and diligently took care of my skin.

I can't use Oil of Olay, my skin just does not like it.

I use the L'Oreal Youth Code line.

I also scored a free tube of Clinique's under eye dark circle stuff and it is the BOMB!

I just did juvederm in my cheeks. Volumina is also a hit. Both are fillers and as another poster said it plumps that which is sagging! When the cheeks were plumped the "marionette lines" by my mouth were automatically lifted and the nasal folds not as deep. You can move your face too! No worries about looking like - insert actress name here - on the red carpet.

The current issue of O has some good skin info. in there for all body parts but alpha hydroxy is your friend from 40 onward!

I'm thinking of doing Juvederm in December... what was recovery like? Bruising? I could do it over Christmas vacation....

The med spa I would go to is offering three syringes for 1k the first week of November. I could actually save one for later.
