T/j on the makeup bag: once when my son was about 5 or 6, I was putting on the 'finishing touches' for the morning. He walked in as I had placed two red dots of blusher on my cheeks and was about to blend. He looked at me with shining eyes and said "Oh mommy, you look just....."

I was eagerly anticipating the end of his sentence. Just beautiful? Just gorgeous? Just like a fairy princess?

Nope. "Oh mommy, you look just like a CLOWN!"

Yep, that's the look I was shooting for.

TR - You did NOT just put a spider-related gif on my thread! Ice. Thin. You.

MartlArts - That's hilarious.

When my daughter was around 10, she was visiting a friend of mine who was having a particularly bad day with her H. When she grumbled, "Men! What are they good for?", my daughter quickly replied, "Making more daughters?"
