Looks like you have a worthy successor to Maggie (because everyone knows she canNOT be replaced...)
He is a cutie though.

Aww, he looks so bright and alert. Isn't it funny how word gets around 'on the street'? They know the right door to knock on!
It's wonderful that you do this. My DGD rescues all kinds of dogs to foster for adoption, but has had two huskies come to her door and adopt her! She calls herself the "Husky Magnet".
She gets asked to take so many and is also involved with supporting soldiers and military families, that her rescue group partners with an online organization, pets for vets. There might be one in your area, or maybe you already work with them.
Great work anyway.

He is so adorable. He looks exactly like our little girl "Rusti", who we happen to find walking down our street 8-1/2 years ago.

Oh my gosh Clarrissa...I can't believe your remembered Maggie!! That's so sweet of you
So Marcus must know that he's officially our dog because for the two weeks we've been his foster home he was an absolute angel. But in the middle of the night, he played in MH's closet and then dumped his bathroom waste basket over

Marcus? If he yips a lot, maybe Barkus would fit him! He's adorable, DS. I'll never understand how people can just abandon (or not go to the ends of the earth to find) poor little animals. Marcus can help clean out the snakes.

Rebreather...
I highly recommend a Pom. They are absolutely delightful, joyful and very loving dogs. Word of caution...they bark.
A lot.
All the time.
They are incredibly enthusiastic little guys...they love to play and be the center of attention. And they are masters at learning new tricks

DS, both my husband and I had grandparents with Poms when we were growing up. And when I was training my first golden for obedience competitions, there was a Pom in our class who I ADORED. The barking will be the biggest problem, lol, as my neighbors don't take that stuff very kindly even though we are all on over an acre.
Anyway, enjoy that new baby!!
