Sorry Numb you sound like in a lot of pain. I too hate the smell and disgustingness of the habit, that helped me stop. Also I would imagine really horrible pictures of what I was doing to my lungs, that helped me to stop. Also, I started to exercise. When you do aerobic exercise, it is really hard to smoke. It was quite funny how I began: I would drive to my old jogging road, park the car, light up, and simply 'think' about jogging, while I smoked cigarettes! But just getting into the habit of going to my old exercise spot was the first step to breaking the habit. Eventually I walked my old route, still smoking. Taking baby steps like that helped me to stop.Good luck
