Cute dorks. I worked with this guy who was 100% my physical type - tall, lean, dark hair. But he was also a big dork. Really smart, rumpled clothes, goofy jokes, endearingly awkward. One day I guess his glasses broke and he fixed them with tape. All that adorkableness AND taped-up glasses? I literally could not look at him, he was so attractive to me. 😂😂😂😂😂

Yes!!! A smart guy is SUCH a turn on. And if he's mildly dorky, sometimes that's even better. After being married to a very average guy intellectually who was all beef and no substance, almost nothing turns me off faster than dumb beefcakes.

Raises hand! Another nerd lover over here!

I found myself an authentic nerdy guy. He's also a divorced former BS. He wonders if his hobbies bother me. He's into video games, building machines, comic books and letterboxing (pre geocaching). I tell him all the time that his hobbies are adorable!

A skill:The ability to do things with his hands (I know, double entendre ) but really. My fiance can make/fix just about anything he sets his mind to. Cabinetry, electrical, mechanical etc. It's awesome. He is in the medical profession and I would not have guessed that was a skill of his. So damn appealing.

A quirk: The chuckle he makes when he has responded with a clever comeback to something on Twitter. And how delighted he gets when someone "likes" his comment. Dork.

For me, well rounded hips and what I call "cheerleader thick" legs.. woah momma!

Cute curved or exotic eyes are awesome too.. and if she wears glasses.. I dunno, women in them rounded glasses.. get the cells a moving inside.

If she is geeky or nerdy. Major points if she is smart, and not afraid to do stuff, like connect the tv and cable box... techy and/or handy girls... drool...

Would prefer a cat lover :)

Someone who likes to cosplay and/or is into Anime/Manga and gaming.. ok, I'm probably asking for to much already.. The unicorn of the female species..

I always liked a man with a beard.

My now hubby has a very. big. beard.

The cutest thing he does? He wads up paper. Paper towels, napkins, whatever. He leaves them laying around. For some reason, I have a hard time throwing them away sometimes. They were in his hands, he wadded them up, and leaves them wherever he happens to be...how can I throw them away?

I love that he gets on the floor with my dog.

My guy is a nerd too. Super smart. And it's great.

But it's his yawn. Something about it is so cute.

Also, Dutch but went to an English school. Such a cute accent. Once, don't remember what we were talking about but he said, "I don't care" and somehow it was adorable.

This pertains to my SO, but I love rough "mean" looking men (6'3", shaved head/goatee/mustache) who in reality listen to Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Antonin Scalia lectures for "light entertainment" and hold my hand and open doors.

I love the contrast.

Dorky smart guys that wear glasses. SWOOOOON. Especially the really humble ones that don't see how cute they are.

I really like humble, open but soft-spoken men. I absolutely CANNOT STAND arrogant, cocky, alpha guys. PUKE. I am completely turned on by the opposite.

I discovered a new quirk I loved this past weekend. I wanted lattice put under my front porch because our dogs get under there and get dirty. I was prepared to do it myself but SO had other thoughts. He built me the perfect underpinning for my porch. I had no idea he knew how to do carpentry. It was a new thing I learned about him. I seem to get to know him more each day. He even did it without yelling or cursing at me. That's a new plus in my book.

Education used to be an obsession of mine. But I recently dated a guy with a PhD in Physics from Cambridge and he was such a prize a'hole that I was instantly cured of that

What I discovered since dating is that the theory of what I like in a guy and the reality of what makes me tick are two quite different things. I dated some remarkable guys, good looking, confident, educated and super-successful in their chosen field. But the one who truly left a mark was......a builder!

His confidence, warmth and natural charms, not to mention strong, amazing body, totally did it for me

Sadly, he didn't exactly have a monogamous streak on him

I love a good sarcastic sense of humor but only if he can laugh at himself too. I like a man in a suit but I love a man in jeans and workboots I don't know why...I just do.

I use to love watching my soon to be ex work when he wasn't aware that I was watching. He was so passionate about it and so focused. I really admired the way he would never give up or get frustrated when something he was working on didn't go as planned.

I love when a guy remembers little details about something you said. For example, I am a huge Coca Cola drinker and I have a very unusual first name. When we passed a bin full of Coke bottles that say different names on them I commented that growing up nothing ever had my name on it. No key chains, signs, license plates, tooth brushes, Coke bottles...nothing!! Same thing for his first name. We were joking about how left out we felt. Well the next day he special ordered me 12 bottles of Coke with my name on them from Coca Cola!! And a few with his name. I thought it was so sweet that I almost cried!!
