I would have a scarlet letter A tattooed on WH's chest.

Edited to add: This ^^^is because he told me that "he is not a cheater----that his A was 'one little blip' in our long marriage"

Some years back, after the A I was in a group and we were asked what we would want on our tombstone. My answer came quickly and I have never wavered from it. My H knows this should I die before he does. I want it to say SHE FINISHED STRONG.

So for a tattoo....let me say I will never get a tattoo only because I don't like pain....but if I got one, it would say I WILL FINISH STRONG and I would probably want it around my ankle. I know! According to my DDs who have several tats a piece, that is one of the most painful areas to get one.

	Okay, so it's inner strength!

I am liking the infinity sign done horizontally with the word strength or courage written as part of the line where my bracelets would hang, partially hidden, but there.

There isn't a cheater on this EARTH worth marking myself permanently for. Not ONE.

I'd probably get a Chihuahua instead, to celebrate booting his sorry ass out the door.

Thatbpguy - it’s a cartoon bomb, with a lit fuse. And it’s on my backside. No idea what I was thinking, but it makes for fun party chat. And my kids think it’s hilarious. Luckily no one can see it.

SoS, the art is called Kintsugi. I purchased a beautiful piece after DDay#1 when things were going so well. I was planning to give it to WH on the first VDAY after DDay#1. It was approx 10mos out. We were going to be on vacation in a beautiful place where we had gotten married over 20 yrs ago. It was always a special place for us that we visited often as possible. Less than 12 hours before we were to get on the plane I found evidence he was in a different LTA with a completely different MOW. I found disgusting dick pix he had sent her days before. So, I have a piece of kinsugi for sale.

These are funny. I've thought of getting a Phoenix or (rise from the ashes), but I'm not sure. I already have a few other tattoos, and am craving a new one. I've also been thinking of a quote but idk where I'd get it.

I thought of "kintsugi" but instead went with "kintsukoroi - proof of it's fragility and resilience is what makes it beautiful "

Ok, I’ll give more info. It was shots of raspberry schnapps. For both the “artist” and for me. It was mid day. My backside was in the air, and I signed for a ups package while under the needle. Dr strangelove by motley Crüe was blasting. I had just broken up w my boyfriend (who then became my wh).

30 yrs later, with kids that age, I’m still mortified. I’m an artist and writer in an upper crust town. But I’ll bet there are more embarrassing tattoos than mine under all the fancy clothes.
