IMO it is possible, although I think many will go on to have a PA. My WH had a 3-4 month sexting relationship and I am as sure as I can be that it didn't go on to a PA. She wanted it to and had talked him into going to her house. It was at that point that he made a mistake which led to DD1. I knew the date he was due to visit her for sex, so once we were in R we talked about it and he was determined to find a way to prove to me that he hadn't done so. Eventually he thought to show me his Oyster journeys online for that day, which proved he went nowhere near her. I think he 'just' wanted a fairly anonymous sexting boost. Which is Wrong, wrong, wrong, but I'm so grateful he didn't take her up on her 'offer'.
