That horse ranch in the Sierras sounds idyllic, Reality. I have a picture in my mind. What a place to raise a family. I'm so sorry you had to sell it in the divorce. Like your story all of this started in the 25th year of our marriage. Big celebration. And then......

Like you said, my XWW was part of the long term goal, our dream. She helped build it. We worked cattle together like a dream. We used low stress cattle handling methods. We worked cattle like a choreographed ballet. We walked our pastures hand in hand, together, then she went to work the next day and stopped at his place on her way home for a quickie.

When we were hauling cattle to scattered pastures in the spring and home again in the fall she would go to work the next work day and stop again.

She didn't want to give up on our dream or her "work boyfriend". She thought she could have both, I guess. I retired from my profession at 55, as planned. We bought the current ranch which was 2 1/2 hours away from her home office. She had developed a new remote position and supervised all of the people in northern Alberta as well as having the second largest client base. She was all in to the ranch and was going to take everything to the grave. Secrets often eventually get discovered through various ways.

I'm hoping that I will meet a lady to spend the rest of my life with. I live in a sparsely populated area. My business town is 5,000 people and over 30 miles away. The town where I go to church is about the same distance away in another direction with 2,500 people. I'm a born again Christian and am only interested in a relationship with a woman whose faith is her highest priority, followed by spouse and then family. Faith, family, friends.

It's kind of limiting but not impossible. I'm not giving up but trying to be realistic. If it happens it will be joyous. I'm also pretty good by myself and comfortable in my own skin.

sisoon: yeah, only 70!! It's all about perspective isn't it. Thanks for the kind words.
