Let it been noted I never get rid of books. My desk alone had 89 books on it until recently. They now have a new home in a bookcase about 6ft tall in the bedroom. ^_^

The Kushiel Series by Jacqueline Carey.
Pretty much anything by Jennifer Roberson.
I loved the darkover series as well.
Right now I'm on the 2nd book of the Species Imperative series called Migration, by Julie Czerneda. I looooove it.

This is more fantasy/romance than fantasy/sci-fi but I loved the first three books of the Tairen Soul series by C L Wilson
