I have lights on my Ficus. Does that count?

TR, that cat in the tree is a little bit too close to home. They didn't quite do that, but could have easily. I knew it was time to take it down.

Pretty, DS!! I see you use flowers on your tree, too!

I got into a mess with my tree today: I spent a couple of hours carefully draping beaded garland on the tree and ended up HATING it! So, if anyone wonders if it's possible to get TOO MUCH garland, it IS! I had to go back and ever-so-gently remove most of it.

Me too, ga.

Everyone's decorations are so beautiful! I finally got the "mantle" done. I don't have a fireplace anymore, so I take over the buffet in the dining room instead.

TIKY...our tree's are almost identical!!! Is yours real?

No, it's fake. I'm allergic to real trees. I love them, but I get sick as heck with one in the house. Our OLD fake tree (as old as I am!) was awesome because it looked totally real, once it was all put together. I eventually gave up on it because I had to rig it so bad, especially at the top, to make it look right, so we got a new one a few years back.

ETA: I got frustrated with the beaded garland again and took it off. I need to get back to work on it before Waywardson realizes it and starts bitching! I'm thinking about the off white beads and maybe weaving some ribbon into the tree. I don't know, but I'll probably have ANOTHER pic of my tree later.

2nd edit: I just messed with it again, but I'm not going to take a pic, yet, because I think I'm not done.
