I'm thinking "Lucky" fits him perfectly.

He's doing well. Happy and a lot less furry. The vet shaved him down.

I will post pics tomorrow. He ended up with a plate, a few screws, and a pin.

After i picked him up today knight said maybe we should call him Steve Austin. Not quite six million but close enough.

All his messy fur got shaved off.

Tried to get a pic of them together but there is some definite avoidance going on. He tries to cuddle up with her and she runs away.

So adorable! I like Oscar. In his original picture, his fur kinda looks like Oscar's from Sesame Street. Our 15 1/2 year old beagle named Oscar just crossed the rainbow bridge so I'm partial to that name.

Talk about a rescue dog! Right from the middle of the road! Sounds like you are his guardian angel!

He is absolutely adorable!

I had a dog that as hit by a car and had a plate put in.... That's not cheap that was a really great thing you both did.

Have you picked a name yet?

Bogart sounded good. I thought have sandy from the movie Annie. He looked just like that dog but with him shaved the name doesn't seem right.

Me: BW (in my 40's) Him: ExWH EA/PA with MOW coworker(also married). He ended up marrying his mistress.

Oh he is so adorable and sure cleans up nice!

Seriously he is absolutely precious. When I saw that new photo of him I automatically saw Hector Elizondo. So I am throwing in the name Hector.

If you have a Gigi, maybe "Maurice" or "Chevalier" would work! Whatever you call him, you guys are aces to rescue and keep him.

I had a Wolgfie (Wolfgang) doggie. He was the sweetest German shepherd ever and I miss him.

Another fantastic dog-rescue story with pics!! I'm in heaven...

Seriously tho, knightsbff - you guys ROCK for saving this precious dog. There should be a special place in heaven for those that rescue helpless animals. You guys went sooooo above and beyond by getting him all the vet care he so desperately needed.

Count me in the "Oscar" camp for a name. I think it fits him.
