Just like title says. I've made the decision to divorce. Feel good about the decision, but don't personally feel great at the moment.
Any advice on transition, specifically with a toddler?

I remember the feeling that day I made the same decision. It's terrifying and liberating all at the same time.
No advice about the kid since I never had any, but welcome to the other side!
Big hugs.
Onward.

Thank you. Liberating is a good way to put it.

Definitely see an atty b4 you tell your WS. In fact I saw 3 different ones and got a lot of very useful advice. My state still has lifetime alimony, children cannot be overnight with girlfriend/boyfriends, and the divorce can be fast when adultery is involved. North Carolina is a state in which BS can sue the OW/OM for loss of consortium.
As far as visitation, include Halloween and July 4 as well as Christmas and NYE for holidays that each parent gets every other year.
