Just and FYI that there are other sites to download Android apps other than Google play store completely untraceable.
Cheaters can go into "incognito mode" on Google
Go to sites like 9apps, Mobigenie, mobile9 (just to name a few).
From any of these sites they can download texting apps etc.
They also can delete these apps from their phone yet keep the account active. Download when needed, again in incognito mode so it is totally untraceable.
