Daily Life Living with a Narrcissist
I thought it might help others if we posted some activities we experience being married to people who demonstrate narcissistic tendencies, or who have been officially diagnosed as narcissists. My former therapist told me my WH definitely demonstrates narcissistic tendencies. WH denies this
This week, my work has been demanding. WH likes to call me around 11 am to "check in". It usually involves him talking about how busy he is, how overwhelmed he feels, etc. I usually humor chin. Not this week. I cut him off, tell him I’m too overwhelmed with my own work to listen to him talk about his. Yesterday he got mad and hung up on me.
Okay. I let it go. I focused on my work.
This morning he started grumbling about his workday ahead. Instead of being sympathetic, I told him my plan to wrap up a challenging work week. He stopped vin his tracks, then asked if I just didn’t want to hear him discuss his work difficulties. I told him I was focused on my own work, not his.
He just stormed out the door to drive to work

Tile
I bought these little things off A*****, they came in a package of four. I put on in WH’s car! It’s called the Tile Sticker. I downloaded their app, made it mute the sound, and it even gives a location history. No monthly fee. It’s a GPS tracker!
I put one in my wallet, one in my purse, so I can locate those too.
The purse and wallet don’t lie to me though.
If you press the button on a Tile that isn’t muted, it will ring your cell phone, even when your phone is on silent.

Open a Second Facebook Account
I discovered that WH’s family has me blocked from my regular account.
He never did tell them he lied to me and about his sneakiness a few years ago.
So, they probably think I am just insane. So what?
If something happens to my WH’s parents, I would be left out of the chain of communication, then blamed for not knowing about it in the first place.
I also discovered a hypothetical former friend who pretended to be a faithful wife, was “angry” that my WH cheated. She’s a cheater too! Her AP left her last year. Boohoo!
Anyway, if your family is plagued by drama, like my outlaws, maybe make a second account, go take a look!

GPS Fell Off!
The gps I purchased and affixed to our car, fell off! It still shows up on a local highway, battery at 39%! I deserve an F grade in sleuthing

Possibly Stupid Question about VOice Activated Recorders
I bought a new Sony VAR, have it all charged up, can get it to record if I manually press the RECORD button. So how does it record if I place it in WH's car unless I am there to press that button?

Whoops!
I purchased an inexpensive little RFID doohickey to GPS my WH. I slipped it into his backpack last night, then promptly forgot I did that. So I looked for it frantically today to no avail.
WH saw me unwrap it and pair it to my phone last night. Tonight he asked me if it worked well. I told him I misplaced it last night and couldn't find it since. It has this feature that you can make it beep from the app. But it has to be in range. I could not hear it beep at all today. WH goes into his backpack to retrieve some postage stamps, and finds the tile. He works in a secured workplace, so would be in deep trouble if caught bringing a bluetooth device into work.
He has an Android, so FindMyIphone won't work. I thought this was a good substitute, but it isn't, obviously.
