At the bottom of onesadgirls thread it says that sites for Obits searches are needed so I thought I'd add this: www.newsbank.com

They have millions of newspaper articles from worldwide and a special section for obits.(Not in obits but) I found the birth announcement for 1 of the ow's children from 1996 and that gave me the name of her ex(who I thought was her current at the time and that is what I was looking for but it turns out that he kicked her to the curb for cheating...go figure)

I have access to their database through my local library. I have a library card and I can use it to log into the library's website from home and it gives me access to most of the library's databases. Just not the criss-cross directory because its too large from what the lady told me.But anyway, its a really good thing. (having the lib card AND newsbank.com- wealth of knowledge)

I used to have a handle on life ...but it broke off.

I AM GOING TO REVAMP THIS THREAD SOON, PLEASE ADD YOUR BEST SEARCH SITES SO I CAN ADD THEM!!!

*I hope you are all using this as your 1st place to look for search hints, there are many answers here and I update it frequently.*

I'd also like to add a section of members who have special services they can volunteer to search something by PM - like members of paysites, i.e., reunion, classmates, carfax, motor vehicle records, investigative sites... 24 hour passes, etc.

I will update it often if you later want to be removed.

Thanks! You all rock!
