Hey! I hadda plan lunch, and now DINNER too?

Oh, wait, Jimmy's DD will make us some cheese wrapped dogs. Ummmm.

How about strawberry shortcake for dinner? Dark chocolate peanut butter cups for dessert.

{{{BillieJean}}}

I am not anywhere near to the final day of the Big D. But I will try to follow your example.

Eek kept me in hand today. I kept checking for texts, emails. *sigh* (ala Jimmy) Stoopid. Why the hell do I do that?

Because it has been 36 YEARS.

Okay, I do NOT want to complain here. I'll post separately.

Today was first day with kids. It was tiring, but not as much as I thought it would be. I did okay, my usual self, only much, much stronger and sure of myself as a teacher, and a human being, than I have ever been. Not as organized as I would like (I AM NOT by nature organized in any sense of word!). But went okay. Realized at day's end, tho, before rushing off to the lawyer, that only one teacher of dozens as told me anything about their plans.

See, that makes it really hard to make my plans. Even the three co-teachers, who are my closest colleagues, have told me nothing about what's going on those classes, in which I have students. GRRRRR. Eek, jump on their backs, please!!!

So I said Eek helped me out today. As I sat reading over the new retainer agreement before I signed and entered the office of no return, I called stbx. The agreement clearly says in the first paragraph: be sure you really want this, try counseling, etc. So I called him. He did not answer of course. He has not called back either. So Eek made sure I didn't speak with him. Sort of. Anyway, that's my excuse. Eek stared hard at me as I hit the end on the touch screen.

I am sad though. I see he put in the joint account money for the bills, and the extra money I need to pay retainer. Sooo. I'm sad again.

I like numb better.

What is everyone doing tonight? I need distractions....

I'm nowhere near the end either. In my state there is a 90 day waiting period so I have three more months before the D is final. We signed the D papers today and then the attorney files them.

The waiting period sucks because you are neither here nor there. It's like your life is in a queue.

Here is your schedule for the evening:

I recommend a desert of banoffee pie, or cherry cheesecake, or for those of limited means (or who can't eat wheat like me ) a bag of peanut butter M&M's.

Afterwards, get some sidewalk chalk and write bawdy limericks on the grocery store parking lot.

For the finale:

- Write the word "flange" on an index card and seal it in an envelope.

- Go to a nearby coffee shop and buy a large latte.

- Give the latte and the envelope to a random person in the shop. Wink and tell them, "It's up to you now."

- Smile inwardly, secure in the knowledge that you have made the world a bit more interesting.

OMG Jimmy1. I didn't think it was possible but I laughed today - thanks again to you.

It's up to you now.

I love it. After I finally managed to get some sleep, I woke up furious. That POS WH is missing his kids first day of school and thinks a phone call can cut it, when he is on a week's holidays. He is waiting until they go to school before he comes over to pick up more of his stuff. He can't get his ass over here to actually see them off - doesn't realize or care how that would totally make their day if he suprised them. Then I find out my sick car is going to cost $1000 to fix and I can't get to work tomorrow... Calgon take me away...

He is missing out on things he will regret missing someday. As for your kids, they watch you, and they watch him, and they form opinions of what a person should be. These hardships will make them stronger.

As for you, you will be remember by your children as the parent who was a real parent.

{{{ASG}}}

Call if you need to talk. Or just cry.

I fell off. Again. And this time I feel really badly. I gave him the finger as I went to my car, and he walked away, silent. He caught up with me, and I did not drive away. Stupid. He does not do things as he believes I will think nothing he does will be good enough.

Okay, more crazimaking. Blameshifting. God, he is so good at it.

Okay, Jimmy, you must be my long lost twin; I always knew I had one. I have celiac disease, so EVERYTHING I make is gluten-free. And I make damn good stuff, too. So you do NOT have to settle for m & m's. The strawberry shortcake? Made from the new gf bisquick. Mine from scratch is much, much better.

Bawdy Limericks

Um. I don't write poetry well, but I do write really bad limericks for friends and families on birthdays.

And the flange and latte thing? I imagine going places and doing things like that.

I do not want to behave at the station like I did tonight. I guess I got set off by a ff asking me if I missed stbx when he was away for past 12 days on another job. Um, is what I said, then said out loud, f-cking a--hole leaving the place.

Well, sh-t I do NOT WANT TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS.

No more responding to calls in evening when he will be there. I cannot control my stupid self. dammit.

I will stay on the train of peace, where people give sqeezes, are funny, caring.

Oh and the mis-type of dessert as

desert of banoffee pie, or cherry cheesecake

REALLY sends me over the edge. It's a good edge. Back on the train.

Will I never learn???

Off to shower car. And then pet the farting dog and really old kittie cat.

ASG.. let us know you are there. Something. We worry.

Yay TJ! I'm a Celiac too! Hurray for our broke-down intestines!

What kind of baking mix do you use? I like Pamela's. I make a pretty sweet GF coffee cake, and pizza rolls using chebe bread.

okee dokee.

We can meet in the gf kitchen car and compare mixes and recipes.

I also have fibromyalgia. I am a freakin train wreck.

Anyway - I use Pamela's, and also like the Betty Crocker mixes they have now. I make from scratch most of my stuff. There is one gf restaurant in all of N. America - near where I live. It's wonderful. I get rolls there sometimes, and a cranberry white chocolate granola bar thing that sends me into paroxyms of delite. She makes little round blueberry donuts too. I'm swooning.

I have had no luck with chebe bread. Let me know how you make that. I have used gluten free pantry mixes - coffee cake one is wonderful; I of course change every mix and recipe I use....

So everyone, I have some school work that didn't get done due to the fire call. I have some wonderful cookies baking so will ahare them before it's time to hit the berths. Smell the chocolate and cinnamon??

BTW: smoke alarms are good for 10 years. Then ya need a new one. I will keep track of them on the train...Everyone, check your batteries!! There will be an unannounced fire drill soon...

WEEEOOOOWEEEEEOOOO!

Everybody out!

Even you, Eek. Keep watch over us.

Do you use the mix for the chebe, or do you just try to make it from tapioca flour? I have tried both, and the mix works great for me, whereas the tapioca flour is something we do not speak of.

It was looong ago. I think I used a mix.

Tapioca flour. Worse than baby powder. I mix flours together, but prefer superfine brown rice flour, sometimes mix it with sweet rice or corn starch. I almost own the xanthum gum company.

First time I made a cake with rice flour, years ago, didn't know about mixing flours or how to convert recipes, or xgum. It fell apart into such tiny molecules one could have sniffed it up like cocaine...

Do you have tapiocaflourphobia??

I'm snorting, and did NOT get my school work done.

Hopeless.

I think I am off to the bar car...dirty martinis anyone? OW's XBH contacted me today out of the blue, sending my stomach into flip-flops (separate post). I think they are D'd, but I don't think he had any idea about the A until last week. When did my life become a ridiculous soap opera...

Is that the dread one feels when they know for certain that when they pour the flour into a bowl it's going to come right back out again on the other side?
