I've recently started using a really cool (FREE) software called Calibre.
The website is:
http://calibre-ebook.com/
It helps to manage my personal ebook library, can automatically convert ebook files to one that is supported by my reader (for free), and can download news files etc as well.
There are a number of other features, but the ones that caught my attention are listed above.
The current list of fully supported ereaders include:
B&N Nook, Amazon Kindle line, the SONY PRS line, Cybook Gen 3/Opus, Entourage Edge, Longshine ShineBook, Ectaco Jetbook, BeBook/BeBook Mini, Irex Illiad/DR1000, Foxit eSlick, PocketBook 360, Italica, eClicto, Iriver Story, Airis dBook, Hanvon N515, Binatone Readme, Teclast K3, SpringDesign Alex, Kobo Reader, various Android phones and the iPhone/iPad.
If your reader wasnt listed, you may still be in luck because by using the "Save to disk" function, you can probably the export data by using your ereader as a USB drive.
So far I am really impressed with the software and thought I'd pass along the info to my fellow SIers!
