The book is based on research done by the author. It's about how good people can be influenced by environmental factors to do bad things. He used Abu Ghraib scandal as a really good example...

It's on my reading list but I haven't gotten to it yet. He's the researcher that did the Stanford prison study. Interesting guy... His findings are frightening though.
