The madhatters thread has been very helpful to my H and me, and we have also read several books. All of the books, however, are geared to a situation where only 1 spouse cheated. Does anyone know of any books that address the "madhatter" situation???

Not that I know of, but I found that The 5 Love Languages was very useful for us in improving our communication, as madhatters but mostly as a married couple who wanted to improve our relationship.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

Thank you...I have heard of that so I'll check that out. It amazes me that there are no matterhatter books being a lot of people are unfortunately in this situation.

I got this book a couple months ago and went through it lightly, didn't read it intently, but liked that there were exercises, liked that it was written by therapists in a structured format of the steps they used in MC with couples. I am ordering a new book this week and realized I still had this one unread in my Kindle app so started reading it thoroughly tonight, and I'd say it's the best thing I've read so far that really focuses on BOTH sides of the affair. I definitely recommend it as a mad hatter. I find myself bouncing back and forth between the roles as I read. The first chapter is split in half, the first half talking to the BS and the second half talking to the WS. The book was designed to be worked together as a couple but also gives the variations necessary to help one work through it on their own if their partner is unwilling.
