I say as long as you can afford it, go for it!

I have been wanting one since after my DD was born. She will be 6 this year and I lost 40lbs 2 yrs ago so now all I have is a bunch of skin on my stomach. The only thing that can be done is a tummy tuck. So I'm trying to pay off some bills and before my 42 birthday, I will definitely be having it done.

STBX didnt want me to have it done--he was too busy with OW. Now they can both eat their hearts out as I look amazing!!

S, Filed 4/17/14--YAY, ME!!

Send one to me and we can compare!! I am having a tummy tuck, breast lift, and implants on 4/30. It is sort of a now or not for a LONG time since I am heading to nursing school in Aug. I am terrified and super excited. I lost 70lbs to get here after 3big babies and csections. The skin has been giving me problems for a while and my family doc suggested looking into it. My breasts ate sort of a "since you're in there" thing. Here's to quick recoveries!

Traumatized, but I'm headed forward towards the light.

I wish you enough ....

Just an update on me. My surgery went very well on Friday. The pain is not too bad (thank God for painkillers). I'll be more than happy to pm before and after pics, but it will be several weeks for the swelling to go down for the after pics. I had a tummy tuck and lipo of the knees, hips, inner and outer thighs, hips, abdomen and waist. The lipo hurts more than the tummy tuck. I can't wait to see the results!

ETA: I lost 65 pounds and am thinner now than ever in my adult life. So, I mainly had skin that needed to be removed. They removed 3 pounds of skin!!

survivor I'm so happy for you! I've heard that lipo can be more uncomfortable then most people expect. Keep me updated on your progress I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes.
