My crush in IT turned out to be married, so that's that.
hoya, are there any more like that at your school?
There are only two guys I can think of who aren't married at my school, and well, uh, no thanks... not guys I want to date.
My current crush is on Tom Mison, who plays Ichabod Crane on Sleepy Hollow. I think it's safe to say that we'll never become an item.

Don't discount his non-response to your inquiry regarding wife & kids may mean he isn't into women.
Regardless, he may have a strict policy to not mingle social life with work life. Your email was quite transparent and he didn't nibble.

My aunt married her kids' teacher after her husband died and they have been happily married for over 40 years now and even had a baby. I forgot the details but I'm sure the kids laugh about it now. It had to be weird.

Artemisia - glad I could brighten your day! 😀
Tryingagain74 - well, our only other bachelor teacher just got married this summer, so I'm afraid we're tapped out, lol! Honestly, a couple years later and I *still* can't believe he chose me. He regularly had many married moms either hitting on him or trying to fix him up with girlfriends.
He said he noticed me right from the start, but since I was married, he never even tried flirting with me. As SOON as heard I was getting divorced, he jumped on it. It wasn't great timing (I had a LOT of healing and therapy and grief to work through) but he was too afraid someone else would snatch me up if he waited for me to be in a better place. And he was too damn cute for me to resist at least *dating* the guy!
It all worked out for the best. But I definitely feel lucky!
