There is a G2G being planned in Detroit for the first part of October this year.

Anyone interested in joining up and going?

If enough of us will go, then yes.

I've been on SI over six years and I'd like to meet some of the people who've helped me through the darkest of days.

And I think the members from the Upper Midwest need to show them thar Texans what a party is like.

But I won't wear a slice of styrofoam cheese on my head

Let's see if we can do this.

I didn't even know that was an option. I sure will!

I bow before the superior intellect.

Does this mean you are interested in going?

I have been thinking about it since I saw the thread.

k9 ~ as the cheese heads are our sworn enemies, I appreciate the fact you won't wear the styrofoam cheese on your head. I can than feel comfortable leaving my inflatable horns at home.

I'm not a born Chedder-Head. I'm an import. And I am amazed at the extremes people up here go to showing their support of the Packers.

I mean seriously.....a Packer bathroom??????

Let's make this happen. That G2G in Texas sounded like they had fun....but I truly believe us Northerners can show them how to have a REAL good time............

I'm interested. I'm in northern WI.

WOOOOOT!!!!!!!!

Let's try to get the word out to everyone in WI and MN.

The more the merrier I say!!!!

And if Moo comes....no pedi's. Northern men don't do pedi's and we'll adopt him and make him an Honorary Northener.

Notice I didn't say anything about making him wear the inflatable Viking Horns........

So let's get the word out.

If he wears the horns, he has to wear the cheesehead too. I'm thinking we can find something more appropriate to his name - it's the dairy state after all.

I guess October is too early for a polar plunge in a great lake...

How cool if you guys road trip over here!! The G2G is October 4-6. That's all I know. From what I've read, wh5 doesn't know much more than that either... about the G2G.

Failure is success if we learn from it.

The firm dates are 4-6 Oct. Which means for us it would be either 3-7 Oct, or if we want to do an easy drive 2-8 Oct.

Or 3-8 Oct in case we don't have enough people capable of driving safely home.

I'm thinking meeting someplace and carpooling/caravaning. As we get closer and people firm up their committment we can look at the maps and figure out the best place to meet.

Cheese Hats and Viking Helmets with or without the fake braids are optional but encouraged.

Although I live in WI (import, no styrofoam cheese, no Packer bathroom, garage door or tattoo), I cannot attend, unfortunately. But I would REALLY love to see pictures!!!
