OW has no experience with kids beyond babysitting, I imagine and now it seems that having them around nearly 50% of the time isn't quite as fun as she thought.
I'm sure it will last for awhile but the cracks are starting to appear. Ah, bilss. I will die laughing when they break up and 'can't make it work'. Hahahaha

I think the kids will be the death of their relationship. Bless my kids, they're great but they're also teenagers, not all that much younger than her, and my older one can be quite the mouthy little shit when the urge strikes. Hormones are a terrible thing.
I'm trying to remember being in my mid-twenties and if I would wanted to take on a middle-aged guy with kids whilst in my first post-uni job and all my friends either still in uni or just graduating.
God, STBX is such an idiot. I can't imagine hanging with people at that stage of life, considering the stage of life I'm at.
Not convinced his do-over is going to work out all that well.

The kids are going to give OW a run for her money. Get the popcorn and move over, I need a seat!
God, I am waiting for this to happen on my end. The mouth on my two kids--especially my 5 year old is unbelievable. She says the most amazing stuff with a totally straight face. She already has backed her father into a corner where I'm sitting there shocked that she would tell him that.
Just waiting

OW texted older kid and apologised, saying she was just tired and her strop had nothing to do with either kid. Looks like STBX has pulled one of his master moves: control and bringing her down a notch. Wondering if she'll catch it before he has her totally under his control.
I'm of two minds about this: on one hand I want her out of my life so hoping she smartens up and does a runner. On the other hand it would be fun to watch her slowly get beaten down emotionally and then one day catch him cheating. It's a tough call, really. I think I'll go with number two, actually, because now that I can see that his pattern remains true it will be nice to see her suffer a bit.

Heh...one of the kids told me that OW said to him that she thinks it's wrong that STBX treats said kid like...a kid. He's not even a teenager yet and is still very little boyish so yeah, he is treated like a kid.
Can't be good when she's already criticising his parenting skills. And she's childless, in her 20s...what in fuck does she know about parenting?

She's in some sort of real snit. Perhaps she's realised that a middle aged guy with two teenaged kids isn't all that much fun for a young lady in her twenties. He has them nearly 50% of the time and it would appear she's seeing that it's not quite like baby sitting.
snorting coffee out my nose.
Sounds like your kids are more mature than the "babysitter".

God, I would so love this to happen. Not involving your kids of course, but the implosion of dishonest love. Oh yes, how wonderful for you. Lol!

I'm not throwing a party yet. They're desperate to show how 'true' their love is so I figure it'll carry on for a while longer...but he's suddenly being nicer to me, so there's something.

Heh...an update. Seems OW is AWOL. Kids over the moon. Can't decide if this makes me happy or sad. I want him to cheat on her so she feels some pain but happy my kids are so happy that she's not around. tough call on how to feel.

Maybe she's found a young, unattached guy her age to cheat on your STBX with...
