As I opened my bedroom door this morning, the first thing I noticed was the scent of Hyacinth. Then the memory of yesterday came flooding back.

I spent a considerable amount of time outside cleaning up the yard from sticks, twigs and limbs, and the garbage that had blown about the neighborhood or been tossed into my yard. I checked the outside of the house and my gardens, making mental notes of things that would need attention.

In my flower garden, the Hyacinth plants were in bloom or budding. I planted them because I love their scent.

Just as I was finishing outside, a new neighbor, out walking her dog, stopped to introduce the two of them to me and tell me about her family. She seems very nice and seems like they will be a nice addition to the neighborhood.

The last thing I did before coming inside was to cut some Hyacinth to bring inside. This morning the scent was a reminder of the nice things from yesterday.

Finding what life could have been....... Why didn't I see it?

I trust you is a better compliment than I love you, because you may not trust the person you love, but you can always love the person you trust. - UnknownRelationships are like sharing a book, it doesn't work if you're not on the same page.
