If only one existed, but can anyone guide me to something that can help me get my ducks in a row if it does come to divorce?

Married 16...he forgot our anniversary a while ago among other things. Every birthday, holdiay, whatever is forever ruined.

The process varies from state to state. Get some consults with attorneys set up to go over the process that would apply to you. Many consults are free.
Also, make sure that you have copies of a titles, tax returns, account numbers, retirement plans, etc.
If it all goes pear shaped and you need to divorce, knowing some attorneys, being familiar with the divorce process applicable to your situation and having your paperwork in order will serve you well.
