I saw this story on twitter this morning. Three girls went missing in 2002, 2003, and 2004. They were rescued from a house.

I will post the story, but this is an interview with the man that rescued them. It is a sad and crazy story, and I'm not making light of it, but this interview is pretty funny

I've been watching this in horror. Just .. well I have no words. I'm thrilled they are found and equally sick at what it will take to heal from that. My feelings are just all over the place. It's unbelievable.

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

I saw that on twitter too. Just horrific. Wasn't there another case of something similar last year in Ohio?

Three brothers arrested.

I can't even begin to process this. Miraculous and horrifying in equal parts. My DD is 14. It hits way to close to home to think of what those girls must have endured. And how their families suffered.

The one poor girl will now learn that her mom died, never knowing she was alive all this time. At least their healing can begin, bless them.

Oh, and I love the interview with the guy who rescued them. He's pretty funny and very real. Kudos to him.

Finally, a happy ending for a change. But it's disturbing how similar some of these cases are. And WHY does there always seem to be a police visit that ends with them leaving, finding nothing..?

That interview was waaaaaay too hillllarious. "When a pretty little white girl runs in to the arms of a black guy....."

Also when his reaction when he hears the "woop woop" of the police cars sirens... priceless!! Like 'That sounds like the cops... but, wait, I'm the good guy here"

On a more serious note: There was a nastier incident in Austria where the father had dungeon-ed her daughter for 27 (?) years and bore kids with her. When the kids were rescued they asked their mother "Is this heaven? "
