Blake, I'm sorry to read this, it must be very painful to not see your WW progress as you would expect 8 months into this.

Your triggering episode was a completely normal reaction to what would be an extremely painful and stressful experience for anyone. I triggered badly a few weeks back upon seeing a former lady friend of my wife's who was an affair confidante. Can't imagine what it's like seeing the OM, but if you didn't try to kill him and burn the place down, I'd say you did as well as anyone could expect.

It's not clear from your post why this would cause her to rage as she did. But regardless, that's disturbing.

You are a man of faith, and I assume that you pray daily, probably multiple times, for your marriage to heal and for your wife to see the light and work on her personal issues.

If so, and assuming you are doing your part to work towards R, then it sounds like you are doing all that you can do.

Wishing you peace and healing.

She has explained that it was a tough week for her...had it not been she would have done better.

It was a rough week....all of it directly relating to the affair and my wifes nature of continuing to lie about facts surrounding it.

I did wake her up at 2 am to talk about the A. We talked for 2 hours. I dont think it was raging...and she agrees...but it was early.

I have no compassion for her stance on this. She lost 2 hours of sleep that one night. I SLEEP an average of 2 hours a night every night...some nights I never sleep...and I am the sole provider..have a managment job that requires at least 40 hours of thoughtful work...she can take a nap after dropping our kids off.

Yep...still mad tonight.

Sal1995...you are a new to me member...am really appreciating where you are coming from and your specific story. I intend to follow your interest.

Thank you for your support.

God be with you.
