DD20 came home from school with scabies, omg, I am freaking out. She saw the doctor before she left and got treatment, but I'm not sure she followed thru with the other steps necessary with this sort of thing. And she brought all of her laundry home with her, so I have been washing in hot like crazy. And now I'm convinced I'm itching....
Any experience with this? I'm cleaning like crazy, spraying Demite spray and vacuuming, laundering every thing in sight...any other suggestions????

I got scabies while doing medical mission work in Honduras. Hot water, double rinse, the OTC treatment for furniture is your best bet. The most important is the bedding. Make sure you treat her mattress. People usually get this from spending too much time in someone else's bed. NOT necessarily sex related! Mine came from using someone else's sleeping bag. Bleach. Good luck!
