At my stepfather's house it is mandatory to close the lid on the toilet after use. He got up one night to use the toilet and found a snake in there, and has been traumatized ever since.
That I can understand, so I comply willingly with the toilet lid rule.

In this instance I'm pretty sure the snake entered the crawlspace (even though the entrance close to the bathroon is sealed tightly with a special door) and then crawled up the waste pipe fron the bathroon sink. Since the sink vanity is curved at the bottom, it then exited at the front and crawled around to the corner. At least that's my supposition. I'm SO glad I had already ordered the upgraded crawlspace entry door that is all heavy-duty plastic and has a locking top (not that snakes care about locks).
Be careful what you wish for the most - you may get it.
