Seriously! My sister, after the crap she pulled last week, is now asking for help!
She sent me an email that she was supposed to pick up mom's x-rays but forgot, now she wants me to do it for her. I know it's a little thing and it is for my mother but I so want to send her response telling her to F-off.
Just wondering, can't the place where my mother had the x-rays done send them to the hospital for her? Do they have to be picked up?
This is how I feel in regards to my sister
I'm seriously going crazy. Someone call the men in the white coats.

Men in white coats are on their way.
Why so irritating? Does she know she's annoying?!
I don't know how it works over there so no advice from me I'm afraid except for... Sisters are weird- FACT.

sd:
I would suggest "crickets," except that your sister is already deluding herself into thinking that you got the message and you're going to just swoop in to save her bacon. If you do, she looks good; if you don't, she makes you look bad by putting the fault on you.
You know, sd, if I were you, here's what the Devil in me wants to do:
1. Tell your mother to keep it quiet, but you and your sister are going to do something nice for her as a "surprise," since she's had it so rough lately.
2. Tell your sister that she's supposed to keep this quiet - it's going to be a "surprise," after all - and that the most crucial, integral thing (something minor, of course) is her responsibility. You'll take care of everything else.
3. When it comes time for the "surprise," your sister will have inevitably not done her part, and so she will be the only one with egg on her face, since you did everything else.
... I'm so bad.

I did! It was the knee, the food, the chair one right? which is why I think- does she realise she's an arse? My SIL- the one that looks exactly like my wife except with no soul- she doesn't know, she goes into shock when you call her on something.
When I read the other post I half expected you to say "it's her 13th birthday soon".

She sounds a lot like my oldest sister. I'm convinced she has a personality disorder. She can do and say whatever she wants, but no one else can.
She sucks the life out of me and I try to avoid all contact possible. In fact, after my parents a gone, I have no intention of being around her ever again.
My best advice, as limited contact as possible.
When one door closes, another door opens. It's the journey through the hallway that sucks.

Ark, crickets is probably best. But an "ate you friggin' kidding me?" would feel so good.
KB, I love it. It's just crazy enough to work.
Yes I do abby.
I85, that's the one. No she doesn't realize she's an arse. If she was 13 that would explain a lot. But she's 41. She would probably go into shock too.
travels, that's hard to do with my kids. They always ask to visit her or to help her out at the store. As much as I would love to at this point.
I think I'm just going to call my mom tomorrow to find out what the deal is with her x-ray's and go from there. I'm not sure with all the HIPAA laws of I can even get them. I know they won't give information unless my mom fills out a form saying it's ok to talk to me.

The ones who don't know are the worst- one of my sisters is a right mardy one- I say stuff like "I know you're really busy but- I'm doing x-y-z. Could you do me a favour and deal with it this time?" - this is when she was supposed to do something but is trying to kop out.

I just talked to my mom and she had the x-rays transferred to a closer medical office. She said she talked to my sister and they will pick it up. I told her the next time she needs anything picked up to transfer it to the medical office in my town and let me know.
I'm not responding to my sister's email.
