Well thanks SSM. We have a Florida trip planned but after looking at your pictures I've been looking online for where we going to go in the Adirondacks for a long weekend in July. I thank you.. my bank account does not

Meta, depending on where in the Adirondacks, I may not be too far away.........

We do Lake Placid every fall so I was thinking Lake George area for a long weekend. I'd like to be near enough to Lake George to drive into town a few times, but somewhere more quiet and remote. I am having a hard time finding somewhere that will take a 3 day reservation though. It doesn't need to be fancy (in fact it can't be for this trip
).
I should probably start my own thread and stop jacking this one

Meta, I camped on the islands at Lake George every summer for several years when I was a kid. I LOVE it there! One year we actually had a small island all to ourselves. It was awesome!

Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing. Use the pain as fuel, as a reminder of your strength
