Has anyone heard of using Bee Pollen for losing weight. I was recently at a party and heard some of the couples talking about how much energy and weight loss they had with it but before I could talk to them more they left .I really want to loose about 40 lbs and since I turned 52 it seems impossible no matter what diet I do or what I take.

Don't waste any more money on stuff like this. Do you think that if there were some magic thing that you could ingest, that anyone would be overweight?

This part of your post:

it seems impossible no matter what diet I do or what I take

is very telling. It's not about a diet (in the traditional sense) or supplements.

It's about changing your lifestyle, for the rest of your life, that incorporates mostly healthy food and exercise, including strength training.

http://www.nwcr.ws/Research/default.htm is a link on how people who've actually lost weight and kept it off have done it.

Most people don't know what "eating healthy" really is. This is one of my favorite links: http://www.whfoods.com/

Anecdotally, it seems like diet is more important for losing weight, but exercise is more important for keeping the weight off. Every person I know that has lost a significant amount of weight and kept it off for more than a couple of years exercises.

You can do it, but it's tough work until it becomes routine. There are no quick fixes, and anyone who promises one is a charlatan.

When you see weight loss plans like this, what you don't see is the fine print that will always say "This product is combined with a low-calorie diet combined with regular exercise." And that is what makes you lose weight.

I'll be 52 next month and my weight has been the same since high school and I'm even in better shape now than I was then. I've never been on a diet. But I eat very healthy and I am very active. I do strength training and cardio. I have tons of energy, no medical problems or aches and pains. If I do gain a few pounds, I think about what I've been eating or not doing the same and cut back and change things up until it's gone and I'm feeling better.

You would probably do better with a program that teaches you new habits and the right information. I know it's very difficult and overwhelming at first but honestly, it's a very simple concept.
