My fwH sent me a picture via text message. It was a picture of his ring finger with both his old and wedding bands on it. The corresponding text message said, "My first band is your symbol to me. The new band is my re-commitment to you. Also, metaphorically, the new band keeps the old band where it should always be." He went on to say that wearing both bands together felt comfortable and right. 
He surprises me every day.

My H is not able to wear his ring at work. He wants to get a ring tattooed on his finger. He keeps telling me this. I am not one that likes tattoos and we have always held the belief of not marking our bodies.
He always told me he would never get someones name on him, because his father has all 3 wives names on him(2 ex wives and his current wife). For H to want to do this is big. He wants everyone to know he is married and that its permanent. I am really close to giving in and letting him do it.

My H is not supposed to wear his ring at work, but he never takes it off. He puts his gloves over it when he is out of the truck. I thought he took it off. Not sure why, but it made me feel so good that he leaves it on (at least until I remember the safety risk).
