Ahhh, divorce - the gift that keeps on giving.
DD is with FT this weekend. She had a birthday party to attend this evening and FT did say he would arrange for her to go. I have no clue if he took DD, or wifetress or grandmother did. Frankly, it doesn't matter.
What does matter is that I see a FB post from another mom (who I am friends with) saying that upon picking up her DD from the party she had "such a great time hanging out with the parents."
This bugs the hell out of me because it is so hard for me to make friends with the other parents at DD's school. And I worry that this difficulty will transfer over to DD if she doesn't get invited to playdates and such.
I feel like I missed out on an opportunity to get to know the other parents. And to top it off I have had the birthday girl over to my house for a playdate a few months ago without her mom. I was so looking forward to getting to know this mom, but I missed out once again.
And god forbid I find out wifetress took DD to the party and she was hanging out. I think I will flip my lid!
Meh. I know I'm overreacting. This sucks.

hey, why not have a party at your house. Kinda make it pick up at 4pm, stay for some nachos and leave at 5pm. Parents like to party too. And still get home early enough to watch the news.
Is the f*cking you're getting, worth the f*cking you're getting?
