You say that little out building is on a hippy island?
What has always amazed me when I've been sailing in the San Juans and the Gulf Islands is the size of some of the houses on small/tiny islands... They're fricken huge! Then you see small little shacks that people are living in that look like glorified out houses...

@ freuken: I just sold my condo to get outta downtown, now I'm a renter again in a much nicer neighbourhood. 
It will do for now.
@ WB: yes, those "cottages" people build are ridiculous. This little piece of history is what people used to build as a summer place on the islands.
Back in the 40s probably.
