OK - so I am 5 weeks in and the ANGER is really starting to set in. So I decided I needed a project - not some little decorating project but something involving LUMBER and POWER TOOLS! Yeah baby. So I head over to Home Depot and I had forgotten how wonderful it is to be a woman in the lumber department. I have all the supplies I need to take out my anger on wood/nails/powertools AND I got smiled at about a dozen times. :) Self esteem boosted. :)

Great idea!
I would have loved to do something like that. We were building a new house when I found out about his affair. Putting my efforts into a home that would not end up being our home seemed pointless. So I signed up for a volunteer job that was physical and very fulfilling.
Bottom line is that a healthy way to vent our frustrations is great. Running, painting, boxing, cleaning out the garage, whatever. Do it!
Divorced - recovered and hoping to help.

I refinish furniture. Big furniture. It takes me to places looking for matching knobs, etc. Keeps me busy and meeting people. ANd Its satifying. Problems must be big. I am obsessed. Really obsessed.
