forever - There's NOTHING wrong with you getting a dog! It's wonderful that your parents want to help you with it. And the dog sitter nearby is a great find.

Go get your furball!

Seems my 24 hour delay in making my mind up and my decision to make sure I had plans in place for support has most likely cost me Mary.

The breeder has been inundated apparently.

Well she is the ONLY curly haired Portuguese Water Dog puppy in the whole of the UK for a good 6 months now so no wonder.

Got to wait for a couple to visit her on the weekend before I find out if I've got a chance. They want to see if she sets off one of the prospective owners allergies.

I've got fingers crossed but I'm not hopeful

I've emailed another breeder I was talking with last month

She had a littler but no curly coats.

Maybe I need to be more realistic with my desire for curly only.

I don't actually know why I wanted a curly coat so much
