Often, saying it out loud (or writing it on a backlit screen) is enough to get the process started. We've all either been forced or forced ourselves on a journey of self-discovery; the results are not always what we expected, but they are the truth. Whether the truth hurts or heals is up to you. I'm glad to hear that you are healing.

You are important and you matter. Your feelings matter. Your voice matters. Your story matters. Your life matters. Always.

It is funny...healing.

You think you have healed, and then time shows you that in fact, you have not.

I can look back now and see the markers of healing and know I'm just about there.

I decided to take my kids to a hotel that ex and I used to always visit. It was one of my favorite beaches. I reclaimed it this weekend. Brought the kids here on my own, expecting to trigger...and I haven't. I've been more fucking proud of myself than anything.

Maybe try focusing on growth rather than healing. I don't know if any of us will ever "arrive". It's kind of one of those processes that keeps going as long as you keep wanting to grow.

you all are getting that feeling because you are comparing with yourself with someone else.

Look from the spiritual point of view and you will see that you all are beyond beautifull for what you are. No need to be this or that.

everything you need is inside you but you do not want to see it because You look it in someone else.

Stop see everything from the human point of view and see who you are in a higher level.

the light is inside you all, just let it get out to iluminate your ways.

Sorry for the typos and grammar.

Pain and suffering is part of life, but I choose to feel love and compassion for all people excluding no one.

When you are beginning your growth/healing process, I guess my point is along the way you think, "I've done a lot of growth/healing!!", then you look back and realize it was just the beginning.

It is like a lightbulb went off in me this last week...I can see what people have been trying to tell me.

So, now, I'm tackling this deeper issue of the internal negative voice. I am making a choice to change it. But, it has taken me almost 3 years to even recognize the...problem.

I do feel like I've come a long way in my own growth/healing and I like it. I kinda like me. Someday, someone else maybe will like me too.
