Before I left, I'd wake up in the morning, finding it hard to breathe and feel a little panicky. (I'm also unemployed so have the financial pressure). I went to the ocean the past couple nights, woke up to the waves throughout the night. In the morning, I did not have a problem breathing. Same thing on the 2nd night and morning. I woke up in peace. I took my little dd. We both love going to this place every year. I think everything will be ok.

Absolutely! And so much more than OK.
I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!

That sounds lovely. I'm glad that you found some peace and that you and your DD have a special place to share.

I'm so glad you feel better!
Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed I think about going the beach and make mental future plans to tide me over. It even motivates me on my job hunt because I think about how much easier and affordable it will be to take a trip to the beach on a random day off when I have my own income. The beach is such a peaceful and beautiful place that one of my life goals is to be able to afford a home on or very, very near a beach so that I can wake up every day to the sound of the ocean.
