i think I already blew my hand, just by asking him. it may be a long time before he tries something again... but if/when that happens I will be lying low and keeping track and will not confront until I have proof.
I just have to decide if I can wait that long.
I am confuse about what you meant by self fulfilling?
I am concerned I am looking so hard for proof I may be tainting what I see. But I am keeping notes just for that purpose, and there is plenty here that I did not warp to fit my idea that he is cheating. But I do worry about that... that I am not seeing things clearly...
