Filed mid-January; divorce final 25 Mar. Our state has a mandatory separation period (can't remember if it is 6 or 12 months), but we both signed a form that basically waived the waiting period.

Apparently my state had no waiting period. I never even thought about an official separation. When I decided I was going to D my XH, it was immediate. I filed for a D two days after the final D-day in my first M. It would have been sooner if I could have gotten an appointment sooner.
