(((MustSurvive)))

Someone once told me that if you see signs of a loved one you have lost (in dreams, a see car like theirs, or come across an old letter from them) it is them thinking of us and letting us know they love us.

I don't know if I believe that, but I know for sure: it means WE are thinking of THEM... and WE love THEM. or else we would just miss all those coincidences and signs that are constantly around us.

and when you think of a loved one it makes them closer to us, if only for a little while, and someone keeps them alive through that memory.

Aside from seeing your Dr (promise me you while - ok?), how do you feel about doing something this week that relates to your daughter? If she was an animal lover you can volunteer at your local animal shelter to walk a couple of dogs. Or if she was close to nature you could plant a tree in your neighborhood or at a school. If she was into clothes you could clean out your closet and donate your unworn items to charity.

I lost my bff at 27 and aside from eating a cupcake on her bday every-year I had an engraved plague put on a public bench at the beach we always went to as teenagers. It was a small gesture but I know it would have made her smile.

(((hugs)))
