Anyone have any experiences with these companies? I use to get the FIngerhut catalogs all the time, but never ordered. Are they suppose to be cheaper? Are their products name brand or knock off? Thanks in advance!

I've ordered from Fingerhut once or twice. Good quality, but they can be expensive. I usually wait till I have a coupon code.

We've had accounts with both.
I've found that Fingerhut is more expensive than Gettington on many of the pricier items such as good blenders, cookware, computers, etc.
For example, if you search each site for a Ninja 72oz blender, Fingerhut sells it for $120 while Gettington has the same item for $99.
As far as shipping, we typically got items faster from Fingerhut and Gettington seems to backorder things more often than I was happy with.
Both places have good quality products, specifically when you go with a known name brand. The unknown brands on both sites are not as well made, but if you just need a starter or secondary set of dishes, for example, you can expect to get about a year or two's use out of it before you see serious wear and tear.
Unfortunately both charge insane interest rates, which is why we stopped using them when our credit was back on track.

Do you have to use their credit or can you use your own credit card? And if I do use their credit can I just pay in full the following month so I don't accrue any interest? Sorry, but like I said, never used the companies before, but wanted to try them out.

I used their credit and paid it off the next month.

You can use their credit line or your own personal credit/debit card.
There's no penalty for paying off your balance "early".
