I am a fan of all things sandwich. I've never tried a Muffaletta. Now I must!

I had a friend who couldn't eat sandwiches. None. Hated them all. Anything between two slices of bread made her gag. She wouldn't even walk into Subway with us

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

Gosh this thread would have sooooo much more meaning if said "pimp" sandwich was delivered to those of us who have to work through the Holiday. It's not like someone made sure to get to Central Gocery at the risk of being late to Jazzfest, stood in line for 47 minutes whilst a couple from Pig's Knuckle Arkansas tried to order roast beef sandwiches, put up with an out of control child who said he wanted ice cream, waited patiently for his own sandwich, carried the olive mix the 17 blocks back to Mama's house, stashed the jar next to the unliscenced firearm in the closet risking jail time and public shame, denied himself an extra three Lucky Dogs since he spent so much money on the jar, didn't bring back any extra beignet mix since the package took up so much room in the checked bag, managed to conceal the package so it wouldn't be confiscated by hungry TSA agents and baggage handlers, made sure to transfer it to his pickemup for transportation to the beach house, resisted the temptation to open the jar and eat just a little bit before BabyRazz made her appearance at the beach AND didn't even ask to share a little bit of the olive mix goodness. No, I guess sandwich delivery would be too big an imposition.

Meta, only eat a Muffaleta from Central Grocery! I think "had a friend" is the important part of your statement.

We'll bring the mix to Tahoe.

(Damn, it is just take take take over here!! )

To his credit, I shared your rant with Crazz and he's ready to drive you out a sandwich. Much nicer than me.

There better not be any mix left by the time we get to Tahoe!

If Crazz is thinking about driving all the way to the valley, perhaps I poured on the guilt trip a little too hard.
