a clearomizer is just a clear tank that has the atomiser inside it.
some have wicks, some don't.
I got the the "vission nano" clearo because it almost never leaks and seemed like the easiest to fill, also cuz it is the same width as my standard cig size battery.
but I'm about to go get an ego battery with variable voltage cuz ....I don't know... its a hobby at this point. so I'll Prolly get a bigger tank too.
been looking at those vamos too ...nice. maybe after the ego-t dies.

stilllovingher, I am really really tempted to get a variable voltage battery too- right now I'm just using a regular 808 mini batt.
And yes, a lot of us get to the point where we're off the cigs and then it just starts being a search for the Holy Grail of vaping
which for me- I already know it's TH, TH, TH!!! If I don't get good TH I get antsy and start switching batteries around and stuff LOL. And I like heat with my hit so maybe a higher voltage would work better for me. I just glaze over when people start talking watts, voltage, ohms, and all that crap. I'm not an electrician and I don't want to be one
Also right now with the 808 batteries I'm limited to what stuff I can try on it. The Esmart clearos work very well, but I'd like to try more stuff.

That's awesome-what used to kill me was all the "are they safe!?!?!" and the threats to take them off of the market. B/c yeah-that makes a lot of sense.
They helped me quit smoking too. They are so much better-and do make you feel better.

I've been using and 808 mini as well...until today!
Just got the Ego VV and a ce4 tank that came with it.
I was needing something new as my 808 was only holding a charge for a couple hours and I found this Ego VV for the same price as my local shop sells the 808's for!
It is AWESOME! I'd recommend giving it a look for anyone interested in VV, but a little nervous about going all out on a high price piece.
(of course, I am a nerd at heart, so I'm still looking at those Vamo's.)

My last "real" cigarette was Feb 16th
I love the taste....I love the lack of all the smoke smell on everything......only bad thing was that I had to buy new luggage and I wore myself out cleaning the house

SLH, I really wanted to get a nice assortment of possibilities that I could switch around and put together all different ways- to really see what works best for me in the long run...
I'm still not up for those monster mods, but I'm moving in that direction LOL.
Best part is... I got it all for about $90. Not bad

I finally did it...I got a vapor cig kit. It will be a week ago tomorrow and so far I love it. There's a learning curve, but I don't even miss cigs.
Our company's health insurance is changing and will be upping smokers' rates (along with alot of other cost increases -and the sad part - I work for a very large healthcare system but it doesn't help with the new laws) Anyway...
I got the eGo Twist. Went to a vapor shop in my area. Like Threnody said - they are very passionate about vaping and also like she said evangelical about the health benefits. I can tell you I breathe much easier and have from day 1 of using the vapor cig.
I, too, think they started me on too large of a nicotine mix but am planning on reducing it on the next refill. The recommend going no lower than 2 mg of nicotine when you decrease but hell, 25 years ago I quit cigs cold turkey while pregnant, I think I can handle a 4 or 6 mg decrease now. I think my reluctance to quit is the taste and hand-to-mouth habit of smoking, not so much the physical dependence anyway.
Anyway...almost a week and lovin' it! And now, I'm not forcing him, but I am hoping my hubby will jump on this bandwagon too.

There's an online site called The Vapor Girl. She has a chocolate lover's sample pack. She also has Dirty Horchata and Chocolate Covered Raisin.
Shhh. Don't ask questions. Just... oh my God. Go. Go get.
In other news, my BFF got me a batt or mod or WTFever that looks like a Victorian dildo. It's brass and says, "Goodbye, My Master" across the little hit screen (it has a counter!?) when I turn it off. I used a V-Core 2 on it and was put off by the metal taste of the tip and then the V-Core stuck itself together and I couldn't open it for refill.
So I got a single-chamber tank (can't remember the name) and it's a bit better, but I need to get acrylic tips because this aluminum crap reminds me of chewing foil when I had braces for the shock.
ALSO, yesterday I tried the first flavor I'd bought for the first time in two weeks. It's a mild tobacco with vanilla.
Gross. How on earth did I ever use tobacco? I mean that earnestly. Ick, ptui, yuck. I'm going to giving it to the two neighbors and/or their three family members I converted a few weeks ago.
I bought a tackle box for cores, wicks, etc. I don't want to talk about it.
That is all.
