So last summer, I was essentially in false R. There was possibly a few days of NC but nothing substantial. During that time, a badly mutilated rabbit showed up in the middle of the driveway. Its head was almost off, the neck vertebrae were exposed. It made my kids cry.

This was definitely not the cat. So, was it a larger animal... stray dog (in suburbia?), a day time coyote.... or someone else? Was not former marital dog, as he's inside during the day. Didn't think a lot of it at the time, except to apologize profusely to DD's early intervention therapists. Waffle got rid of it, he didn't say anything.

Could MOW be a bunny boiler or am I insane?

Of course it could have been OW, but I think it's more likely an animal.

I'm sure it was

As the thead is titled, I'm sure that thought was fleeting paranoia. Just a moment realizing that stupid ass had no idea what he was exposing our family to.

I am sure it was an animal. A bunny boiler would have had to make sure you KNEW who was responsible.

But the thing I think resonates here is that I miss the days when dead animals were "just" dead animals and not puzzles or possibilities or triggers of even imaginary bunny boilers.
