I don't even know if it qualifies as a NB--I've had many in the past few years.

I'm moving back home--sort of. I've accepted a position in upstate NY--where I basically grew up. I spent every summer-and a lot of the winter skiing-here from age 5 to 18.

I start my new job on August 12th, so it's another quick move. I'll be managing a custom car dealership specializing in Corvettes; some very high-end classic cars (including Trans Ams, my favorite) plus late models-Corvettes, BMWs, etc.

It's exciting, scary, and so me

Oh, and there may be another part of the NB--it's much too early to say at this point, though...

I threw it out to the universe--I've been applying in NY, AZ, NM, CA-whatever struck my fancy. The only interest I received was from NY. I guess it was meant to be.

Congrats! How exciting! It always sounded like your Texas job was very unfulfilling. Good for you for trying something new. Takes guts!

How exciting! Especially the opportunity to see people you grew up with!

After my move just to a smaller home a year ago, I don't think I could survive that again...lol!

But you are amazing SAZ - I'm so happy for you!

Yes, Ama. I was actually approached by one of those companies back in April; that started my me on the hunt again. Nothing came of it, but it gave me the impetus.

Kajem--I set up alerts on Indeed.com and SimplyHired.com; that seemed to cover all the bases.

And hill,I'm up for a g2g anytime! I'll be very close to Saratoga.
