I don't get here very much these days, but just saw the news the Cory Monteith (Finn from Glee) has been found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver.

I know there used to be quite a few Gleeks here at one time.

That's sad. I don't watch Glee but I read recently that he was struggling with addictions.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

I haven't watched Glee in a couple years. I did meet him briefly in NYC while he was promoting the show before it even aired. He was so nice and very down to earth. I'm so sad that it looks like his addictions got the best of him.

What a shame. In reading his bio, he seemed to be quite troubled before he got very lucky with the opportunity for Glee. Unfortunately I guess it is so very hard to leave your troubles behind you. I always liked his character and he seemed like he was probably a pretty nice in real life too.
