The cops come to my home early this morning to follow up a complaint that I was neglecting my son and he was hungry.
The cops asked me a bunch of questions. I was more than a little snippy with him as I just worked 16 hours and 8 of those hours I was forced to.
The cop didn't find anything other than my house being messy. I said well I worked all week and just got finished working a double so the last thing I wanted to do was clean up my place.
The police man said he isnt going to pass the report to CPS because he doesnt have anything to pass on. My son isnt neglected and is well fed. I also mentioned to the cop my son is growing he will eat a whole pizza for dinner and after hes done say he is hungry. That is just how he is.
The cop did say that I am in a gray area. If they get another complaint then CPS will come. WONDERFUL. So, if my neighbor wants to be a huge bitch then she can get my son taken away by false reports WTF.

It is messed up. My neighbors have been taking about it all day how the cops were at my place and why. I guess its something for the gossip queen and her friends to talk about.
It pisses me off, I am not longer comfortable living here.
Not only has this woman complained
About me being loud at 10, but I have to keep it down at 930 cause she goes to bed. SHe complained about noise when I wasnt even home for a few days, SHe told the building manager that she smelled pot coming from my apartment, What? now this? I can get evitcted for this type of stuff, I never have had any complaints in any place I lived but here WTF.
Its not my fault that the walls are not insulated correctly and you hear every little thing.
I am talking to my manager Tomorrow and telling him I am moving I am constintly harrassed by this woman, NOW calling the cops to report child neglect Thats enough, If I am neglecting my son then how come I take him to a sitter everyday when I work instead of my sick mother taking care of him? I dont even leave him alone with her to run to the gas station that is a mile down the road.
I think I am going to break my sobriety and get a few beers cause I have had it

My mom doesnt leave the house let alone smoke pot hasnt for 40 years. My mom just sits in a chair all day long.
Its just the neighbor doesnt like me and she wants me gone so more of her family can move into the comeplex.
The neighbor has nothing better to do then cause trouble. shes old and retired with nothing to do all day but gossip

I am planning on some thing like that. The cops coming over to my place for that type of call can possibly get me evicted and i think if i get one more complaint that I will be asked to move and they will end my lease or something like that

Was it your neighbor's name on the complaint?
If so... wow. I think I would want out of there.
Hugs, We've had DCF (CPS) on my doorstep for my DD neglecting DGD.. which was not true. It was investigated and nothing found... but the call was by anonymous.
It sucks, but at least they found nothing to warrant the allegations leveled.
