In my honest opinion, the healing begins with YOU.
I know, at a few months out, it really doesn't seem that way. You just want your WS to wave a magic wand and make it all go away. They really can't.
Even the WS that gets it from dday on, who is remorseful and doing everything they can, is doomed to fail. Why?
Because the healing starts with YOU.
If you stick around here long enough, you will read post after post of BS posting that their WS is doing all they can, but it doesn't seem to be enough etc...
IMHO, it's because there really isn't anything they can do to heal you. Some of the things we ask for help, but true healing begins with the BS. You have to decide that you want to heal. You have to be willing to lose your WS. Reread that. Because that is an important concept.
Start doing things for yourself. Stop cutting yourself off. Go out with friends. Take walks. Start finding joy in the little things. Find a new hobby. Stop waiting to find joy from your WS. Truth is, right now, you won't find joy from them. But there is a whole world of people that can enrich you.
When you start doing these things, you will begin to be able to move forward. It is still a slow process, but you will start your forward momentum.
Good luck!!
